i was reporting a guy (you can read it in the spoiler) but i edit this. whatever. in race2 happened exactly the same. so i think that how i come back to play with gt2. i will just go away once more. sorry for the dirsturb guys.
Hi all, first of all i try to talk with the guy that im going to report but he was only allowed to say things that i was not able to undestand (LoL)
I think im kinda a very good sim driver, i dont like holding/obstructing moves, if i move out of the line is just to scare the opponent; but i can calculate very well the size of his car for giving just enough space to stay there. So if i close someone he have all the place he want. As you are going to see in the replay the guy here is having all the space he want to stay there but he turn left and hit me, that is not a real problem (well it is, but can happen) but after that he feel that i do something that he didnt like and choose to stop my race here.
hummm not really a nice move at all you did there.. he was faster on the straight and going for a overtake and you closed the door, very late i might add, literally on him, if you wanted the inside line you should had gone there sooner (before he tries to overtake you). I call that the dick move tho. lol
The revenge wrecking he did also very bad move, ban worthy.
so if anything was to be done would be done for both of you in my judgement, more severely on him for the revenge, but still the punishment would be for both.

Well guys. i dont agree with you 100%. It wasent late. Just watch this
The difference that i would never send him on the grass ahah
When im in front, i'd the line. Mine wasent a blocking/holding move because as i said i dont do that kind of move. Taking him here was a disturb move. He had the speed to overtake, and he had the space to stay here. If you watch good the replay you see that he hit me because he turn left, not because i didnt give him enough space
All i can say is what I already said.. opinions may differ. The new angle looks the same to me.. you closed on him after already have chosen your side of the road (the outside) you didn't had the right to close on him and take the inside line, principally cause there was his car there, you went to his side..
what he is supposed to do? go to the grass to let you stay at front? You were just too late for that move, its very simple you tried to close the door VERY late.
Read our racing rules! Be a Gentleman and Have fun on =|:-) servers.
I absolutely agree with both TDS and bigmawmcgraw. First contact was caused solely by your own actions. Slow or not slow, the guy was clearly faster at that particular moment and was going for a legit overtake. You moved too late to claim the right line, you should've done that before 0:06 time of the video. At that moment TransAm started his overtaking maneuver and your move was nothing else than a late and aggressive blocking attempt.
There're different definitions of blocking the most strict one I know being "a move you do as a reaction to the opponent's move". That's arguable in my opinion, I think it should also take into account whether or not your move would require for the opponent to brake or rapidly change his direction to avoid IMMEDIATE contact. But changing your line on a straight when the opponent is within attack distance and has begun his overtake I'd consider blocking and I'm sure that most of the people will agree with me. I understand that your move wasn't a full-fledged block but rather an attempt to intimidate the passing car, but you shouldn't have crossed the middle of the track for this move to be deemed OK in my eyes. And it does not matter that your car was going in a dead-straight line at the moment of contact, it was already directed a bit to the right because you steered there at 0:08 and had drifted across the track far enough for it to look like an attempt to squeeze the opponent into the grass. We have limited visibility in simracing, so it's better to leave a bit of extra space especially when you're dealing with less experienced drivers. Again, if you wanted to defend your position in a gentleman's fashion you should've taken right lane after the bend and stick there hoping that TransAm wouldn't have enough speed advantage to pass you from the outside. It was not his fault that the cars ahead wrecked and you had to slow down, so he was it his own right to pass you. And you wouldn't have any problems getting your position back before the end of the lap for him being 3 sec per lap slower than you.
And using Hamberg incident as an example is just laughable. I think both those guys did it wrong (more guilt on Hamilton, but Rosberg also could've backed off and left enough space) and I hope they learned their lesson of ending the race well before the end of the first lap for nothing, but the key difference is that Rosberg started his defensive move right after his botched exit from the previous turn when Hamilton was way behind and had enough time to make correct passing decision. If you wanted an analogy here it would be if you moved to the right at 0:04-0:05 but TransAm would still be trying to pass you from the right. What happened between you guys has almost nothing in common except for both ending the race prematurely.
I also wouldn't compare real-life F1 action to public server simracing. They are super-pros getting paid big bucks (well, at least those of them who manage to routinely get away with those risky moves), and they don't have lag and visibility issues we have in online simracing.
