I've heard a few guys complain that they are constantly disconnected from online servers. For some (not all) it may be a router issue. If you recognize your router, try the following.
Comtrend FTTH (thanks to @anikilator ) Disable the "firewall" option located in the WAN section. DMZ is no longer necessary.
Intracom Netfaster (thanks to @bill MOSCHOS ) Go to router settings ->Firewall->Intrusion Detection and untick ''SPI and Anti-DoS firewall protection'' and ''RIP defect".
Netgear D6300 (thanks to a guy in the "lol" forum) On the D6300 router settings there will be two major tabs, Basic and Advanced. Click on Advanced. Then click on Setup on the side-menu and go into WAN Setup; tick "Disable Port Scan and DoS Protection" and untick "Disable IGMP Proxying"
Thomson TG580 (thanks to @rodrigo Pires ) On the router page->toolbox->invasion detection-> untick the options until you find the responsible one (or untick everything)
What's happening TDS? You should not need to reinstall Wind'ohs! try uninstalling reinstalling network drivers, sfc/scannow (raised CMD) or through a whole load of diagnostic and cleaning software at it. Good luck.
billwiskins: No, was a close call and I had no idea what happened but you pulled over to the inside just in time soa ll good
