These are the settings I use when multiplayer racing. Some of you are running better hardware than me, some not so. These give me a very stable game play (Internet allowing). Obviously if you have a better system you can get away with a lot more graphical enhancements, those with less powerful system will have to drop them down some. This is a good base to start from but you know your own system better than me.
nVidia Control Panel (right click on desktop)
Logitech Profiler (usually found next to your clock, THAT'S CLOCK RIGHT!)
Assetto Corsa (Options - Display & General)
Assetto Corsa ( Options - Controller)
Finally Don't Forget Shortcut Keys
I hope that helps make Assetto Corsa, a smoother and more enjoyable experience for someone.
I recommend using nvidia inspector to use game specific settings, works a treat and has quite few more options than nvidia control panel. I use it basically for all of my sims to get the best out of them. (Gotta love what ie. sparse grid AA does to many of these sims.. completely killing all jaggies and blinking stuff that ingame AA do not work out)
I'm lazy and as such try to keep software/setting stuff down to a minimum. I have to say I played with NI and it works very well, once again though you have to have the hardware to get the best out of it. My poor little GTX460 has it's limitations and they show up quite a bit when using Cubemaps/AA/AS/Shadows, in fact anything that make the sim look sharp and beautiful. Soon enough I will have a nice 7series with 3gb minimum, then I can start playing once again with some sexy graphical settings.
P.S. These settings are really meant as a base setup for medium /low end GPU's, those with better hardware know more about their systems limitations, or can gain it from guys like yourself Jarkko. (It's the SJ way, to share and enjoy )
I finally got AC to look/run great, i´ve had plenty of trouble getting the looks i want out from it. I have it locked to 90fps and never dips below and looks sweet.
-All settings maxed except reflections on low/low. -Using sweetFX (ac_efx_v2_1930_sfx_151_bundle_combo_win7-80-81_18-07-14). -GTAce_Balanced4 Post Process settings. -4xMultisampling and 4xSparse grid supersampling from Nvidia inspector.
I noticed Mcgraw complaining that things were too dark somewhere.. GTAce post process settings alone completely solves that. Shadows look like shadows etc. Couple screenies, all the Sweetfx does it adds definition (removes blur) so pretty much looks like this with the pp.

TDS: very hot day and OC cpu went bananas and froze the pc :-( turned off oc for good) dont want a 747 turbine fan for it to not crash on hot days, and the fps gain overclocking is very very little something like 5 fps. not worth it
