how to downsample the old fashion way for Nivida`s gpu`s.
1920 x 1401 Down Sampled to 1360 x 768 (Native Resolution)
I used the aspect ratio of 4k (1.37)
to find the width I divided the height by 1.37 to give me the width.
Example 1920 / 1.37 = 1401.
How to set up Nvidia cards to down sample
Open Nvidia`s Control panel. Click on Adjust Desktop size and postion then select scaling full screen and preform scaling on GPU.
Now select Change Resolution and click create custom resolution
next enter Horizontal pixels and vertical lines (resolution to render (higher than your native res)) Click test and wait, your monitor should go blank for 5 seconds If successful the monitor will switch back on, and will prompt you to save the new resolution, Click Yes.
List of screen resolutions : Please note. Hirer resolutions use more Vram.
if you find that your down sampling and the game is stuttering due to lack of vram,
Click the acs.exe file, then right click, select properties and then disable the following:
Should claw back 200+meg Vram.
Now gents, lets see your 2560X1600 screen shots.
(don't forget to resample the pic`s to your native resolutions
